On the day we visited, there were only two tables available so they were very busy. We still were waited on quickly with a friendly server (who was new). It was one of the best breakfasts I've had in awhile! Prices weren't bad either.

When my coworker chose this place for lunch I wasn't expecting much, but boy was i quickly reminded not to judge book by its cover. The servers were friendly and the chef's are definitely great cooks. Food came out and I ate it so fast I almost forgot to take a picture. I've had chicken and waffle and they both were spot on. Also the pricing was honest and very reasonable. Something you dont see often these days.

A solid breakfast spot with home style food and exceptional service! Great value and a regular stop when we are in town. Highly recommend.

Friendly, Warm and Cozy experience. The girl who waited on us was sweet and bubbly not the irritating bubbly but genuine and happy. She was a delight and even made my pecan waffle whixh was superb a smiley face with the whipped cream. Nice thick cut bologna on the side.. Food was wonderful I dont think I've ever had anything bad from here.

Nice place to eat. Good prices. Friendly service. Sorry my contract ended in that part of the state. Will miss having breakfast there ever morning.

Absolutely Loved this place! We stopped in on our way to a music festival in Danville, VA. My friend wanted to stop because the name reminded him of an old South Park episode - I just wanted the local diner experience. We were not disappointed. We stopped in am hour before close (2pm, I think), and were treated like Family. Our server was so wonderful, answering questions (Ex: What's the difference between a pancake and a griddle cake? Answer: Their griddle cake is made from a grits patty, so it ends up with a slightly crispy outer layer texture and the almost silky interior of warm grits. I ordered it and it blew my freakin' mind!), and when I told her this was my first experience with grits, she brought me a small bowl of buttery grits to try because theirs are so good. She Was RIGHT! Oh Mama, changed my life. I finally understand the obsession with grits!! I even mixed in a littler apple butter (which they just HAVE Sitting on the table!) toward the end, and my heart hurt a little when they were gone. The sweet tea is a strong black tea, and the prices were great. We stayed full for 5 or 6 hours, even while rocking out in the Blue Ridge mountains. Please come enjoy a meal here and keep this genuine gem open!!
